Just to let you know Pappy, $1.00 Pickem both in Windsor and at MGM
Detroit
(at the bar where only every other machine is full pay), has been a
real KILLER
Jackie,
Nice to hear from you again. Haven't talked to you since we used
to sit together trying to get the 9/7/5 DB Royal Flush progressive at
MGM in Detroit awhile back. Hope luck has been kind to you.
Although the randomness of Pick'Em, or any other casino game seems
to be "killing" us at the moment, have patience and it will return to
it's long-term 99.95% payout eventually.(he says with fingers
crossed)
"Randomness is both a curse and a godsend."

What's more disconcerting is that MGM is giving out double cash
back points through the month of September and is excluding video
poker players once again. For the most part, video poker is just
about dead in the Detroit area as well as the whole of Michigan.
Greektown Casino's banning of certain winning video poker players
seems to have started the whole trend and there is no turning back
now as casinos never anything back, they only take.
"Casinos don't care if you lose your house, your car, your wife,
or your life. All they care aboput is that you keep playing."

Go up to Sarnia in Canada to Hiawatha Racetrack and play quarter
Pick'Em, they are the only one's left at that denomination in the
area. If you must play the dollar ones at MGM, you better have a
large bankroll to withstand the normal fluctuations of the game.
Good Luck--Terry Murphy & VP Pappy
"Courage? I'll tell you what couirage is. It's throwing away a
$225 pat full house to go for the forth ace on a $5 video poker
machine."
