Pickem at Greektown

Is .25 pickem on the way out at Greektown??? The .25 pickem machines
along the back wall of the pickem room have been replaced with new
machines that have short pay pickem, and a bunch of other crummy games
on them. Does anyone think the other pickem machines will be the next
to go? Hopefully thats not the case. Just wondering what everyone
else thinks. Scott

That's sad to hear. If it's true and they do lower all the pay
scales, then we are done at Greektown. Dolores and I enjoy sitting
side-by-side and playing that game. It's the reason we quit going to
Windsor Casino. It's not really Pick'Em when the pay scale is
lowered. It becomes Rip-Off Pick'Em and there's no way to beat it or
to stay even.(a 96% game)Because of it's structure, it's tough enough
at 99.9%.

When I heard that all three casinos were expanding, I knew someone
had to pay for the expansion...and it's us, the players. (starting
with the vp players)
Maybe it's just as well as gambling is a lousy way to spend your
leisure time anyway. We all should be spending more time with friends
and loved ones, or going out to movies, or just enjoying the outdoors
as much as possible in our beautiful state.
Life is too short to be giving our hard-earned money to a bunch of
no-neck, Indian paid, faux-executives whose only concern is profit
and loss who don't really care if they destroy people in the process.
(although they will tell you different as thet pat you on your back,
or should I say on your wallet)

the fun begins in trying to find a publisher.
