pickem analysis

someone know the return and variance for the 99.95% version of Pickem
if payoff for 4 sevens is doubled? thanks.

I got 101.3977 @ 27.3797. All I did was increase the payout for 4 of a
kind to 215 in Winpoker. Don't know if this is right since I am sort
of math challenged<G>.

You've taken the right approach, but your math mechanics may be off a bit.
   
  Quads pay 600 * 14 (double sevens) / 13 = 646.
   
  I got 100.343%, Var 15.969

I agree on the mean, but get a slightly higher variance (16.4).

I think you need to change it to

Non-Seven quads: 600 * 12 / 13
Seven quads: 1200 * 1 / 13

This gives the same answer for the mean, but increases the variance.
