I'll be going to Phoenix in early June. Does the casino at Wild Horse

Anything good at any other local casinos there?<<

Forget Wild Horse--really bad pay tables. I was there once and put a twenty in a quarter 8/5DDB hitting 4 Aces/no kicker on the second hand for $200 (not even progressive). Didn't play another hand, either. (Think that's the most pathetic pay table I ever played, but friends were giving me a hard time and egging me on--long story.) Funny thing is that it's the best DDB pay table I saw, others were occupied and they were 7/5. I'm told that Wild Horse is raking in so much that they're building another casino.

Fort McDowell has NSUD (quarters and dollars, but you have to look). Also, they have a few dollar 10/6 DDB and 9/6DDB at quarters. I was there once but didn't play.

If you make your way to Tucson the old Desert Diamond (Nogales Highway) has 9/6JOB dollars that pay 800 to 1 on all RF, even short-coin. (There are 12 machines near the main cashier. Play Tuesday or Thursday for double points.)

If you're in any Arizona casino pick up a copy of Arizona Player--my column, called "Boyd's Eye View of Video Poker", is in every issue. Linda
