Phoenix Arizona Casinos

I notice a recent update for Harrahs Ak Chin which is a full hour away from Phoenix. However, there haven’t been any comments about the two Casino Arizonas which are adjacent to Scottsdale. If any of you locals have an update other than “nothing good” please let us know. Thanks.

Best VP casino returns in central and East Valley Phoenix AZ that I could find are at the Wild Horse Pass and Fort McDowell, if you can all 964 Double Double Bonus poker returning 98.98% with perfect play a good place to try…very disappointing. Harrah’s Ak Chin , as far as I could tell, has no VP games worth playing…and the same goes for both Casino Arizona casinos along the 101 freeway…even more disappointing.

i just came back from ak-chin. you need a road-map to navigate the casino and hotel, even though they’re small. i’m only mentioning this because i did find $1 9/6 job machines, but i couldn’t begin to tell you where. i just know they are in a row of about 8 multi-denoms., not far from the entrance from the hotel.

had one of those story-telling trips. was supposed to go to rincon, but flight leg to chicago was canceled (what else is new?), so i did some quick reshuffling and ended up in ak-chin. glad i did. day 1 started with a 4k royal, then 4 other 1k royals. great day, i thought. but then came day two. i was playing good times machine, ddb (lousy paytable, of course), 5 lines, quarters, and was dealt 4 aces and a deuce–that creates a 10X multiplier. i couldn’t begin to do the math, so waited patiently until the amount came up on the screen: $25,000. a dream hit. usually i’m cursing chicago’s o’hare airport, but today i am glad they are so unreliable. ya never know.

Fort McDowell Casino in Arizona has had 99.73% NSUDs (16,10) for many years. I believe the machines were listed in the VPFree casino database at one time but the listing was removed for some reason. But the machines have always been there in various quantities and floor locations. Today there are 4 left. The next time I go there I’ll pinpoint the locations as they have been split up a bit and placed among slot machine banks.
