This is how Lucky Lucy earned her nickname. She makes mistakes and
comes out smelling like roses. One time she mistakingly hit the max
play buttion on a hundred coin machine and got a strait on the flop.
Another time she thought she was playing a quarter machine but it was
a multi-denomination set on dollar -- think it was Super Aces or some
such bonus machine. You guessed it, she hit quad Aces on the first
hand. There are many other examples.
I could never understand why casinos run promotions that only serve to
piss off their customers. A few years ago Sams Town was running a
promotion of a free jacket with any royal flush. Lucky Lucy hit one
and when she asked about the jacket they told her since she was not
using a slot card she couldn't have it. She was using a card but the
machine wouldn't read it. Those jackets must have been worth a lot of
money to deny (and piss off) a good customer on a technicality.
