Peppermill

I don't understand it. I just got another offer to stay free at the
Peppermill despite playing there very little during my last stay because of
the poor comp rate. This was an email offer so they probably sent it to a
lot of people.

I didn't get it...is it a general offer, or does it have your players card # on it?

It has my players card number on it. It is for various week nights each
week to the end of March for two free nights. Next week, I could stay
Monday through Wednesday and the last week of March, I could stay Sunday
night through Thursday night.

Believe me I am a low, low roller. I wish this was for somewhere that I
wanted to go. Recently, when I stayed there, I was in the old tower, which
is much closer to the casino. The room had been remodeled and I thought it
was gorgeous.

Ohh yeah, they give mid-week rooms pretty easy, anywhere.
Of course, for blue-collar workers, mid-week rooms are 100% useless, may as well be trash.

That is sure true, and it also applies to white collar workers too. The casinos sure don't know what a persons situation is... perhaps a few days off, a vacation? However, they do know that filling the rooms during the week is more difficult over a weekend. All they can do is send out the offers and hope the gambler will bite.

My situation is a little different. I can get away during the weekdays, but a weekend is much more difficult for me. I have moved up the offer chain.... but I have found that the best offers are over a weekend. a free slot tournament, free concerts, added promotions, etc. A free room is not a big deal, but I miss out on a lot of the better casino offers.

Well, I guess we all not happy about the situation, but myself, I am happy about any offer I get in the mail.
