as others have also done, I can confirm the 10/7 DB prg at oceano bar
is downgraded to 9/6. Ate at Oceano and the service was sub par,
food was very good, I forgot about the posts of having problems using
a coupon and also comps, so when our bill came ($73), handed our
server my card and coupon and he said pick coupon or comps, I must
have had a really irratated look on my face and he said 'let me see if
I can seperate the check and help you', he did and it cost a couple of
extra comp $, but it was all free. It is really ridiculous to offer
coupons and then you cant exceed the coupon value !!

I sat down at my favorite 10play .25 SA machine and as usual checked
the paytable just to be sure and it was 7/5 ooopps. Went around and
it seems that about 1/2 of all the 10plays have been downgraded and
1/2 have survived so far, in fact later I was playing near the buffet
and my machine was 8/5 and the one next to it was 7/5. BE CAREFUL !!

Found out from my host that there is no limit/cap on your comp acct,
but at the platinum level you are only allowed $300 max per year in
the gift shop, that seems very low. ??? Any ideas on what to do with
the extra comp $ ??

PS.. I was having a really bad run at S.L. and then got dealt a .25
10play RF, yeah!!!!

I have a report from a Reno local that all of the dollar and higher (1
$, 2$, and 5$) 10/7 DB in the VIP/high-limit area was downgraded to 9/7
DB a week or so ago, and that he can't find ANY 10/7 DB machines
anywhere in the casino now at dollar or higher. Only 10/7 DB remaining
are the quarter machines across from fish bar on the walk-way to coffee
shop, and the nickel 10-coin machines upstairs. Can anyone else
confirm this very disturbing news? Thanks!

Confirmed, all $1 and above 10/7 DB has been downgraded at the Peppermill. Also, all 10/6 and 10/6/40 DDB is gone at the Peppermill. The bank of 4 $1 10 coin 9/6 JoB progressive ($9400 reset) in the high limit area has been replaced. There are now 4 separate $1 progressives with separate (sub 99% at reset) games. The 5 play Multistrikes have had DDB downgraded from 10/6 to 9/6. I think the Super Aces has also been downgraded in the high limit area as well, but I haven't tracked that.

Right now the best $1 and above plays at the Peppermill are the 13 machines with 10 coin $1 9/6 JoB (reset $9400) in area 7 (near the Fish bar), the 2 $1 NSUD progressive uprights in the same area, and the 3 $5 progressive uprights in the high limit area with NSUD. There are other progressives that can go positive occasionally, but too many to list.

As mentioned, the bank of $.25 machines with 10/7 DB multi-level progressive is still there, and I did not check upstairs for the $.05 10/7 10 coin progressive which is probably still there as well.
