What Jean reports is what happened to me during my stay at the Peppermill
last month.
In addition, since my host was not there when I had to check out, the host
who looked over my account did not allow the meals to be comped. My own host
rectified the situation the next day, and notified me by voice mail with an
apology.

Just received this note from a reliable source:
<<...the info you had initially does seem to be correct. I just
now spoke directly with someone from the info booth and she confirmed
that hotel guests must charge everything to their room and have their
play evaluated at the end of the stay. If you are staying in a comped
room then that will come out of your comp account first and then if
there is anything left over, they will look at meals. >>
