Peppermill Tuscan Tower and Biscotti's

The Tuscan Tower suites are Italian-themed rooms of high quality on par
with the Venetian in LV. They are pricey, particularly on weekends or
special events, but higher tier players get substantial room credit
(per offer) that brings the comp acct charge down to typical casino
rate range. Opt for higher floor (8 up) on the east side if you want
city view, west side for the mountains. Surprise: bath-room flat
screen. Negative: high tech adjustable light dimmer switches in the
bath-room ... simple slider switches would have worked better. Also
disappointed with narrow hall-way corridors.

Biscotti's: the $29 Sunday Champagne Brunch is a must. Selection
tends toward lunch-dinner, but the variety and quality (and setting)
are very good. Experience similar to if not better than Sterlings at
SL (except for desserts). I've enjoyed other meals here as well,
particularly the prime rib and desserts. Wait-staff young,
inexperienced, and prone to mistakes, but nothing serious. If you like
quiet, smoke-free bars (who doesn't?), there's a nice selection of bar-
tops with NSUD and JB. Terrace Lounge great spot for pre or post
dinner libation.
