Thanks everyone who said they liked my trip report.
Enjoyed reading Mark's report also, although I had to take a nap I was
so vicarously exhausted just reading it. Thanks for the heads up on
the terminology hint, I will be sure to use dealt and draw correctly
the next time I am dealt or draw 5 cards to the royal. (That happens
so often to me). Hope everyone gets a chance to use the terms
correctly.
In regards to Peppermill card status being lifetime, I know that you
lose points on a rolling 12 month basis and I suspect that if you
stayed below your level for a while (2 years maybe) you would get a
new lower level card in the mail some January.
We may have so much trouble with Peppermill comps because we usually
leave winners as a couple and I know we are ahead lifetime there. I
guess that could be a good problem to have. We play conservatively,
use coupons, quit when ahead and sock away winnings. Someone once
asked me at the craps table, after observing my style of play, why I
even bothered to gamble.
