Interesting. I wonder if Gaming Control would support this unequal treatment of players if it was reported to them. Perhaps it would be okay because it does not involve cashback or effect the game odds.

I am pretty sure the point rate varies from machine to machine, not from player to player.

I think it's player to player. MGM (M life aka M death) has a similar system in use in Vegas. They can also vary the rate on the fly, while you're playing. One workaround is to get a card for another address or for a family member and play on that instead.

Huh. I thought the M life point rate only varied by tier.
I definitely earn points at different rates on different machines at the Pepp and figured that also explained the OP's findings, so I didn't consider that it could vary from player to player. My apologies, and I retract my prior statement :-/

You have no idea about point system.
Sure it chances machines to machines.
But in Peppermill also chances to player.
Probably you play very little amount and
They do not know you.

I compare notes with other players and haven't noticed a difference before, which is why I didn't think it mattered. This is the first I've heard that it could vary from player to player. I'm still skeptical, but obviously it *could* be the case, hence my retraction and apology.

Well, I've only been Diamond for 5 years and my host has my player number memorized, but I suppose you're right.
