The only scouting you will need to do is in the high limit area,
where the $1/$2/$5 Game Kings have 8-10 game choices. I know the DDB
is 10/6.
There are quite a few $1 older uprights behind the Left end of the
main Cashier cage/desk. The first bank you see there is a 10-coin $1
JoB with a prog Royal that resets to $9400. These are somewhat slow
machines and credit Cashouts of less than 200 are by COIN drop, ugh.
Same story with the $1 Bonus poker bank behind the JoB's. They have
RF/SF/Quad Aces with Progressive meters. But they are uprights and
not TITO.
One more row over are $1 NSUD's with Prog Royals. Older machines,
uprights, not TITOs.
This whole room (near the "Fish bar") has many other $1 coin VP
games, all old uprights, non TITO.
My last visit I hit a Prog Royal on an individual $1 Joker Wild (18-1
for quads) for over $8400 - my highest Jackpot ever.
The bartops near the new Oceano restaurant are multi-denom, possibly
over $1, I can't recall. But the paytables are suspect.
I imagine you may not venture outside of the high limit area - they
are fast, newish TITO's with those large screen (I call them "Airport-
style") card graphics. Plus, they have $10/$25 & $100 coin machines
if you venture that high.
I just remembered reading one of your posts that you like to play
multi-line. There are some multi-denom multi-lines just outside the
ROmanzo restaurant. Not my game, but I remember noticing that there
wasn't any full-pay better than 9/6 JoB.
I used to be a SIlver Legacy regular last year.
THis year I have switched to being a Peppermill regular.
I fly down from Seattle every two months for 5 days and am enjoying
comped Suite, Food, Bev. and the Limo rides. Playing .25, .50, $1
and a little bit of $2 coin VP, but for 8-10 hrs per day.
I much prefer Reno to LV, the VP is good, it's generally not crowded
and there' not the chaos of the big city LV. SOme prefer
LV "excitement", not me.
The casino slot/VP area just outside the new Oceano restaurant is
VERY pleasant, but the VP paytables are mostly short-pay. And I think
it's mostly .25.
