Peppermill quad coupons changed (was Re: Trip Report - Jan...

Hi Chandler,

Not extra coupons for the quad bonus, meant to say that the quad coupon is
now redeemed for a "Mr. Money" entry ticket instead of cash when you score the
eligible quad. (The quad coupons all seem to be for J-A now, but the card
swipe quad coupons are for a single type quad. Like Mark, I also got one of
those for quad 9's).

You're right, it would be very useful if we could figure out the EV of "Mr
Money".

Cheers, Craig

Hi Craig. Are you saying you got extra coupons for the quad bonus? Or did
I misread? I'm not sure what the EV of Mr. Money is. I preferred the coin
bonus because I could make a stab at its value and because I could play up
to dollars. If you get the Mr. Money bonus while playing nickels or
pennies, the actual ER might be better on Mr. Money. I think I got a $7 and
a $14 when I played MM.

Chandler, Craig, Mark and others,

I also noticed the coupon change in the Mailer for the Mr. Money
ticket on quads. I will be at the Peppermill next at the end of Feb
for three nights, and then again in Jun for a week.

I have played the Mr Money game twice in the last year, both entries
were won through the daily swipe (quads not req'd). In both cases I
got to the third level with the option of quitting with $35 (or close
to that) or going for the next higher level. In both cases I lost,
and ended up with about $15 give or take a dollar.

I don't know if there is a point in which one would not just
keep "going for it" because I have never seen anyone playing at the
higher levels so i don't know what is being risked. Any insight?

I play mostly Spinpoker at $4.50 a pop, and my coin-in is at least $5-
6K/day (x2 when my wife plays also).

Don't know if this data point helps, but there it is.

is the Mr. Money game analyzable? I mean, can the variables be
quantified? If so, an email to the wizardofodds might yield an
answer.
