Peppermill polite, but what about security?

I am so used to the large chain casinos where security is so good that if a
bum sits next to me and starts to ask if I want to "buy" one of his treasures,
security is on hand before he can finish....that I was amazed and horrified
when I was MUGGED inside the PEPPERMILL, chased him myself (middle-aged,
overweight & in heels) out of the building and across the parking lot screaming
"security!!!" And no one showed up. Even after I picked up the stuff the
thief threw on the asphalt (phone & small packet holding all credit cards) and
caught my breath and limped back inside, there was still no security. I had
to ask a restaurant hostess to call security, and 10 minutes later when he
showed up he was barely able to carry on a conversation, had only worked in
security for a few months and had obviously been trained only for doing fills.
His 'excuse" was that security was upstairs doing fills because of a big
poker tournament.

SO, maybe the local casinos will have to belly up to the bar and act like
grownup corporations when Stations moves into town.

There was an altercation between two Less-Than-Stellar-Individuals at the sports
book in the Cal-Neva when I was there in November. Security was on hand almost
immediately and the entire issue was done and over within a couple of minutes.
Quickly, quietly, no muss, no fuss.
