Obviously he just made a mental mistake and answered for the wrong casino.

I am talking about Peppermill you are talking about Atlantis They are not SAME casino. Maybe you think same casino who knows.

Between this and your reply to me about the point system, I have to ask: do you find that being a condescending jerk encourages people to help you?
There are nicer ways to correct people.

After reading your posts, even if I had the Pepp calendar I wouldn't tell you about it.

Maybe if you call the slot club and berate them, they'll email one to you.

I have to wonder at the wisdom of these multiplier days. If I was a local, I would look at the calendar and immediately conclude that I would NOT be playing at that casino for 27 or 28 days of the month come hell or high water.
If I was from northern Cal. I would similarly exclude 27 or so days from my travel plans.
Don't see how any place benefits from this. When I was at Atlantis I saw the locals banging away for hours on end on the 3X days on the Rock Tunnel machines I was at -and crickets chirping the other times.

A valid question, IMO.
There's a lot of folk wisdom in the casino biz, used to back up doing what "everybody's always done.". But is there any real evidence it works? I often have my doubts.

Point multipliers certainly can bring in business in certsin cades. Regular multipliers scheduled like clockwork for all hours of several days each month? Questionable. Other common promotional rituals I think are just silly.

My favorite: regular weekly mailed FreePlay good M-F but not on weekends. I know several local places that do this, and all it means to me is I will NEVER set foot in that casino on a weekend. I'll be playing up the street (literally) where they don't have this restriction.

Sheldon Adelson, creator of the Venetian, was the first to install mini-bars in all rooms. In an interview, he ridiculed the "conventional wisdom" that rooms shouldn't have too many amenities or guests won't gamble. While it's true Adelson prefers the convention biz to gaming, time has proven him right and in-room mini-bars are the new accepted wisdom.

Why would management keep using something that doesn't work? Cynic's answer: gaming is a CYA industry. It's okay to fail as long as you did it the accepted way. Stick your neck out with something unconventional, and your failure is not excused.

I did read your question. Did you read my answer?

You're a gigantic asshole. There may be other people on here who would still be willing to help you, but I'm not one of them.

If I want to ask slot club why would write here.

Because they can actually give you the information you're looking for?

Why don't you ask your host? Since you're such a big shot player and all they'd be happy to give you this info too.

But thanks you told me Peppermill has slot club.I did not know this.

Beth must be a saint.

Actually according to a recent article in the WSJ, hotel mini bars are on the way out, as non profitable and not popular. Many hotels are replacing with empty refrigerators.

True - and I for one am happier with those empty fridges.
Like most casino novelties - including the endless parade of new slots - the minibar's day has come and gone. But I've seen no evidence they dented gaming revenue during their heyday.

I never liked having those in my room. I was always afraid that someone would swipe some M & M's or mini bottles and I would get stuck with the tab. And the prices are beyond ridiculous. Now an empty mini fridge that will always be welcome.

I agree!
I hated Pepp for putting that stupid tray above the fridge and the crap IN the fridge..I MUCH rather have it like Siena, with just an OPEN fridge...I'll put my OWN food in it!

I certainly agree with the open fridge vs the mini bar in the room. However, from the hotel's standpoint, an open fridge means the guest is a bit less likely to buy food/water from the hotel. They will bring their own, or they will store leftovers there for a cold meal later. So I see the whole point of the mini bar and snacks, although those snack trays used to get pretty dusty from non-use so maybe they just weren't worth the trouble.

When hotels start thinking about how to improve customer
experience, they will automatically improve their bottom line.

When they try to improve their bottom line without regard
to customer experience, it's only going to work on paper.

A friend is in middle management at Cosmo and they think
their high occupancy is because of exactly this.
