I guess it helps to review the requirements -- I had forgotten about the
free car wash at diamond! Just being facetious & serious. In any casino,
always note the play requirements & the extra benefits for moving up a level.
In this case, it's 7500 tier pts for platinum & 30,000 tier pts for
diamond. If you look at the incremental benefits, it's hard to justify for most
people unless you come often. Another way to justify going for a higher level
-- since I bring family & friends with me on about half of my trips, they
get to enjoy the benefits of whatever level I'm at. I'm diamond & I'm
keeping that status due to what they've done for my guests over the years.
Peppermill also has another level above diamond called Chairman but it's by
invitation only.
Also note that what is published are guidelines. Many casinos will permit
you to move up a level if you show strong play. Jean said it best -- ask!
