Hi I just got an offer for a suite. It doesn't say free or comped. I called and they said it was free, but I'm not sure she really knew. I have seen comped and lately I have had the comp x'd out and free written in. Does anyone have any experience with this type of offer? Thanks!
Peppermill free or comped
I've also gotten mailers with the comped x'd out and free "written" in - anyone know what the difference is between comped and free?

free doesn't get deducted from your comp balance.

Right, they are now "free" since they cp[ied the Atlantis comp model.
But free with no comp deduction is not really better, since before if you gave good action you could basically get what ever you wanted in food and room comps and run a "negative" balance on a phantom comp balance. And you probably noticed your new free rooms comp with less and less free play offered to you. So with $185 rt from Portland at a sale rate, I'll be sleeping in my free bed at home. Peppermill dose not work for me anymore.
