Your right, there are few team players, especially today. In the
days I'm talking about a team might be husband & wife, boy & girl
friend, group of buddies spliting expenses or someone banking a few
players. There was one guy who ran a team who gave a bonus to one
who hit royal. Turned out some of players skewed play toward royal,
giving backer less profit but increasing player more chance for royal
bonus. Nothing is perfect. Hell, I knew a teacher who quit teaching
to play vp for living. 15 years ago certain progressive meters would
reach a level and I could bet on 10 or 20 people I knew would show.
Not always the same 20. I was in town about 10 days a month and I saw
them all over town. My only problem was I had to scout the places I
wanted to play. These locals called or beeped each other or had
spotters who worked in the casino.
On cashing out, it was just memory lane for me. If I didn't realize
royal was hit for a few seconds, I was on notice by click- click-
click- click of the coins cashing out. The jackpot was hit. I wasn't
implying there was anything wrong with cashing out.
I don't see anything wrong with lumping advantage plyers together as
team play. In my case it might be a team of 2 or sometime a team of
one. Gee, I'd rather be called a team player that a "flea".

Only a small percentage of advantage players are team players. When
a
progressive is hit, smart advantage players (both pros and
recreational) will all
cash out and leave, unless there is a backup meter which is still
positive, or
there is some other promotion going on which makes the game
positive at
reset. Please don't lump all "individual" advantage players
together with the
