Pennsylvania casino article

Starts with interview with Jean Scott sitting at a multistrike machine somewhere in Vegas discussing Mount Airy.
Ends with statistics on Pennsylvania including:
"...State taxes take 55 percent of that gross slot machine revenue — the amount left after all payouts.
Since the fiscal year started in July, the statewide payout rate is 90.1 percent; for every $100 bet, the machines return $90.10..."

The state tax in Pennsylvania is 55%. The slot hold is ~10%.
The state "tax" in Ct is 25%. The slot hold is between 8 and 9%.
Massachusetts is (tentatively) going to be 25%.

This gambling reporter is pretty good:

He's has a good article about blackjack rules in PA as well:

Nice to see a gambling reporter who actually knows gambling. The far left Las Vegas Sun just ran an article which begins something like "any smart person knows that the house has an edge on every bet".
Aaaaaaaargh! This in a town with at least a couple of thousand over 100% VP machines- some with "over 100%" signs prominently displayed.
