I think Gilbert used the word "hold" a couple days back. Maybe he is talking
about the obnoxious "auto hold" feature that can be found in alot of
non-Nevada casinos. I have never encountered this feature in southern Nevada, but
last saw it last in Payson and Camp Verde, AZ.
My experience is the "auto hold" program does not optimize EV, penalty-free
or not. This would explain the discussion about programmers and their code.
