peeves about Arena Theaters

I've seen shows at MGM skinny, and I've seen them large. Neither is comfy and the sightlines stink unless you are on the floor in the first few rows. But I'm a good shopper...we saw Madonna a few days ago in $245 seats that cost $43 each thanks to eBay and 'the law of supply and demand' - lousy view but at least we got in. Amazing they have the kohones to charge that kind of face value $$$ for such awful seats (second row of the upper level, far corner).

As a large person, I find some of the seats extremely
uncomfortable to sit in (and possibly impossible for my 200 pound plus body
to fit in).
Even skinny people may find the small chairs hard on the
rear.

We saw Cher last year at the MGM Grand Arena, didn't like the place,
REALLY didn't like the show. Saw Celine last year as well and really
liked that theater.

However we saw Shania last December at the Mandalay Bay arena, and
even though we didn't have expensive seats, we weren't all that far
from the stage. Getting in and out of the MB Arena was a full level
of magnitude easier than MGM, the seats were more comfortable, I just
thought the MB arena was far superior to MGM arena.
