PE..Who's Playing ?

Here's a link on how to live with all kinds of Arizona wildlife, Don! I
found it on the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

Good luck!

Watch out for those coyotes! A women was killed by 2 coyotes last week in
Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Canada. Apparently they are not as
timid as people think they are!

Here is what you are supposed to do if one approaches:
Be aggressive yourself: Wave your arms, stomp and yell loudly in a deep
voice to deter it from coming closer.
* Stand your ground: Stay where you are and look it in the eye. Never run
away; it is more likely to consider you prey, give chase and seriously
harm
you.
* Be prepared: The best defense is a good offence; carry a whistle,
flashlight and/or personal alarm.
* Stay together: If you are walking in an area that has high coyote
activity, never do so without a companion.

At least we only have to worry about "Wolfs" at Mohegan Sun!

We have moved to Oro Valley, which is NW Tucson. We are 2 1/2 miles from
El Conquistador. We joined the club there. No traffic, no snow, plenty of
sun. Only fair game is NSUD, at quarters, and limited machines. We have
plenty of room. House prices have come down alot. We paid 565, and house
was originally listed at 950, with lesser houses selling having sold for
775-900. Pricing depends on what you are looking for. I really wanted to
live in a community where I could get everywhere by golf cart, but houses
are
small, with no land. In just 4 weeks, I have seen, bobcats, coyotes, and
javelinas. Biggest adjustments are getting use to the southwestern housing,
landscaping, and lack of grass( except for the golf course). Today on
the driving range, a coyote was tormenting me, at 270( balls are 80
compression, so he was in little danger). Biggest negative, sales tax
other than
food. License was only $10 until I hit 65. Have a
great day, and royals to all. Ciao Don

Tucson is one of our favorites. We own land on Gates Pass road right
before the national forest. We will eventually be moving down there in a
few
years. We can meet at one of the local casino's. Where are you living?
Take care

I think what has happened is that our small group of players, have been

treated so well by Mohegan, that we want to continue with the special
treatment. I feel lucky that we moved, at 270, it would be impossible for
me to
maintain any status. The loss of the Cabaret, was the start of the down
fall. I really enjoyed all the benefits, entertainment, and treatment I
recieved from the casino. I wish everyone the best, and tons of royals.
Weather in Tucson is awesome. Ciao Don

Larry,
I agree with your new statement. I play mainly the JOB and if they take

all the 9-6 away I would also stop playing there. The point I was making
was that MS still has plenty of playable VP considering what has been
happening to VP all over the country including Atlantic City and Vegas.

should use their most potent weapon aginst the casino..their feet.
Particularly in light of the severity of the PE downgrade( see my original
postscript). However I fully understand players' discontent ( and their
right to
voice it; certainly I have in the past. For me personally, I don't play
nearly
as much at the Sun as I previously had. I mostly go to the Sun( when I do
go) because of some personal reasons not worth mentioning.

> I do like PE but only rarely play it due to the scarcity of available

machines and the smokers. I hate the fact and still don't understand why
all of the FPJOB are only at the bars. I do most of my play on BP in
non-smoking sections. However I do not like the Ballys machines and would
much
rather play an IGT BP machine in AC.
