PE: Missed Royal

I was playing $PE at MS early this past Sunday afternoon. There were
quite a few people playing but still some empty seats in the bank on
the left. Anyway, I was dealt Ad Qd and had my choice of Jd or Kd. I
chose the Jd pile - I'm partial to Jacks ;-)... the remaining cards
for that hand were 4c and 10d! If only that King had been in the
right spot! I hit several straights, 4 flushes and 4 full houses. I
played for almost 3 hours before I decided to leave with a $200
profit.

After that I wanted to try the .25 Multi-Strike Poker machine. This
is the one in the center aisle near the north entrance. I did pretty
well playing the JOB game. I hit 4oak twice on the first line and
once on the second line. My best top line was a straight. Even though
I ended up winning $150 on this machine, I don't think I'm used the
correct strategy. I'll have to review the prior vpFree posts again.

As I was waiting for my hand-pay (started with $100 and cashed out
$252) a gentleman sat down next to me waiting to take my machine. He
said that there was a $ MS Poker machine in the High Limit Slot area
as well as this one. Although I didn't personally confirm this, the
slot attendant was able to confirm this.

Good luck to all!
Jack

Just to clarify ..are you saying there were some seats on the left(
out of the eight available) in the dollar bank or there were seats on
the bank to the left of the dollar PE( which are of course quarter
machines)?

Standing at the entrance to the old poker room with your back to the
main casino, I am referring to the bank of machines on the left. I
really did not pay attention to the number of machines in the bank.
I sat at the first machine on the back side - in other words, I was
looking out onto the main casino and the rest of the machines in
this bank were on my right side. I only casually noticed the bank of
quarter machines and do not recall whether or not most of the seats
were taken.

It seemed to me that there were more than 8 machines in this group
unless the machines to which mine was facing did not have PE? I'm
curious now and will have to look at them the next time that I am
there. So, I cannot say with absolute certainty that there were PE
machines with empty seats only that there were machines in my bank
with empty seats. Maybe I was lucky to find one empty right away -
actually, a young woman had just cashed out for something like $22
when I was approaching the machine. I then sat down after she left.

I do know for a fact that the 2 machines immediately to my right had
PE as the people sitting at those machines were "playing" them. I
say playing in quotes because the man sitting next to me was only
betting 2 coins at a time and his selection seemed to be slightly
random (sometimes not paying attention to an obvious straight
possibilty).

The machines to which your was facing (opposite side of bank) do NOT
have PE. They do have 9/6 JB and several are $5.
