Thanks for running these through your program. I setup the JorB game

return of 181% and variance of 46.3. What a difference that missing
card makes!

Thanks for running these through your program. I setup the JorB

game

in BDPW assuming it is a regular 5 card deal, and came up with a
return of 181% and variance of 46.3. What a difference that

missing

card makes!

I think you gave a good list of reasons why the payback is so poor
compared to 5 card deals. IMO these games are an attempt to suck in
gamblers who have enough sense to look at paytables but are not aware
of the total impact of this change. With the longer cycle times
the "fun" aspect of this game is clearly less. I see no other logical
reason for the casino to put this game on the floor.

I keep thinking about the astounding paytable for 10/9JB in the 4-5
version of the game. Any quad hand pays nearly 5 Times the normal
amount (120 for 1 coin versus 125 for 5 coins on a regular 9/6JB)!
Plus, a SF is twice the normal value.

Is there a way to "trick" more quads out of this game? If you figure
out how, please tell me (I can keep a secret).

I looked for more 4-5's at the Rampart yesterday, but did not find
any ... just two. What about the rest of LV?

The first estimate is 98.6 (see post #57194 for all 5 games). We are
awaiting confirmation.

In this game, like standard JOB, you should hold all two pairs and a
high pair over 3RF (don't tell anyone).

Here is the detail that I came up with for this game. I'm still a
little worried about some of the my numbers, especially the cycle
time for straights.

0.985579 % (s/b slightly higher as I used some shortcuts)
