My next trip is solo beginning 3/27. I was
planning on bringing 4 SS checks and cashing them at
the Plaza for the five points any day coupon. I never
heard of the Rampart deal until today. I tried to cash
a real paycheck a couple of years ago at the El
Cortez, I think, to take advantage of a promotion and
the company I work for in Dallas was not in their
computer system. I do hit the Nevada Palace every
trip, although you no longer get free drawing tickets
for lousy "wins" on their check cashing promo. $50
traveler's checks qualify, which I found out through a
post here, thanks. Everyone be sure and hit that store
on your birthday!! Black jacks even pay double, albeit
with a small limit:-) I am a comp and coupon hustler,
would like to know the best check cashing promotions
in LV, please. Oh, almost forgot, before you hit the
Nevada Palace, get an American Casino Guide, there is
a 40 coin coupon for a quad in there. No one directly
answered my math questions about playing a huge
progressive on CON, btw, but I have successfully
cashed out part of the $7K I won chsing that
progressive. I hit clubs and spades, the progressive
was only in diamonds, alas.
