Ironically, I went there today with my first SS check. Brad had been doing
3 checks a month for almost a year.

So they didn't honor it? Well, perhaps in a few months when enough players
comlain, they'll restart the program. I have my SS direct deposited - never
thought of using the check there.. smart of Brad.

No, they didn't honor it. They said they were going to start another program soon but didn't have details. But I saw a workman behind the counter with a TV screen thingy that kind of looked liked the bingo promotion at the Cannery - so I wouldn't be surprised if that is what is going to be the new promo.

Brad has a government pension as well as a small VA and small SS check. One (or maybe all) of them "require" direct deposit unless you say it is a "financial hardship" to do so. We figured it WAS a financial hardship to lose hundreds of dollars in bonuses - so we filled out the "financial hardship" form!!!!!
