casino, am I only to look for 9/6 machines? Is there anything else I should look
for on the pay table?

Pay Tables
The 9/6 (FullHouse/Flush) is where the main changes are made in Jacks
or Better as you'll notice in Indian casinos or in lower denominations
or some Progressives.
It doesn't hurt to check also if the pays on 3of-a-kind or Straight,
for example, are what you expected to see though.
