Say I'm
walking thru the casino and want to report a good VP machine, how
can I
tell what % payback it is by looking at the paytable ? Does anyone
have
a specific list of what paytable means what % payback ?? Like if my
wife and I wanted to be a VP monitor for AC or CT how would we
learn
what to report back as we walk the casino ? Are there any other
factors
we should look for , like progressive banks etc..<<

It sounds like you may be fairly new to VP. If so, I suggest you
read a good book on VP. A recent good one is Linda Boyd's The Video
Poker Edge. It's full of useful information, all of it presented so
it's easy to understand.<<
Thanks, Brumar, for such kind words about my book.
I also wrote my own strategy cards, free in the back of my book--they can be removed and brought with you to the casino.
Tony and Terry, I think you'd make excellent monitors. By the way, progressive banks of good games are listed by monitors--like 9/6 JOB, 10/7 Double Bonus and others. (You can estimate the increased ER of progressives by adding .1% to the ER for every 200 coins over reset of a progressive royal--or 1% for every 2000 coins over reset for large progressive royals.)
(Clint Eastwood just took the stage--still so cool and cute. Oops--he missed his line and mentioned that he should have worn his glasses!) Back to Oscars, friends and Celine. Linda
