I know of several video poker players that are in your
situation. They live in Las Vegas part-time, have a local
address and don't need room offers. But they miss out on a
lot of bounceback cash when they are out of town.
Playing at casinos like Rampart and Cannery where they have
cashback for points, multi-point days, drawings and
merchandise/gift card giveaways is probably a good idea for
you.
I would give every casino a local address to get whatever
local mailers you earn. They often include benefits that
you wouldn't otherwise get as a visitor. For example, you
would get lots of multipoint days and/or free food coupons
or discounts at Arizona Charlie's, Fiestas, Stations, Main
Street Station and the Palms. Coast will also give you free
show tickets if you qualify.

locals mailers to get an idea of what benefits are

There are probably a few exceptions where it is better for
a local to be recognized as an out-of-towner, such as for
tournaments. Miss Craps has commented on this before. But
I've noticed that some casinos like the Venetian and MSS
invite locals as well as visitors to tournaments.
