Thanks for your input first of all, that goes to everyone who has replied to
this point.
I guess a couple things back to the original question:
1) What kind of machine am I likely to be able to find at Paris
(specifically Paris) that I will be able to play JoB on at $1 rate. Is it
going to be 7/5 or can I find say an 8/5 machine or what should I expect
here. JoB is obviously one of the easiest games to play, which is part of my
reasoning here. Now if I need to learn/master a game like Bonus Poker
because there is absolutely no good options at Paris for JoB I understand.
But can anyone tell me what type of JoB machines are around at Paris in the
$1 range?
2) Some here seem to be saying and this may be 100% correct, that I will
basically be given my diamond card and the point I earn will be worth $30 in
RCs and I should expect nothing more. What is reasonable to expect for me to
receive from doing this (DIAD) plus 2 people playing a decent amount of pit
games with average bets of say $20 on bj etc. Is it crazy to think I could
get the room mainly comped? Is it crazy to think if I charged things to the
room that I might be able to get them reduced a bit? I might be naive but I
was hoping to get a decent rate reduction on the room and maybe some free
buffets or meals while I was there?
3) I do plan on using the Diamond Lounge perks drinks/snacks etc while
obviously probably not worth a ton of $EV but I am not looking to maximize
EV entirely here. Part of this is just me and my buddy wanting to degen it
up a little bit and get diamond.
