We signed up for this and they give you $50 back (as credit toward what you
owe) after you put $750 on it. After that you get something like $20 back
if you put $2000 on it. If you pay off each month, this didn't seem like
a bad deal, and they approved it quickly.
One disadvantage, this card is due very quickly after they send the bill,
so if you get one with the intention of paying off each month, be sure to
plan for a quick turn around time to avoid excessive finance charges.
It seems like all the Visa and MC cards are playing this now. In the old
days you used to have a 30 day grace period, then 25, etc., but now they
mail the bill out to you late, so you are lucky if you have a week or so to pay
before you end up incurring extra charges at outrageously high rates.
