I put about $8K coin-in at the Palms yesterday and was planning on
capping my day with their video poker tournament. How can anyone
justify participating in this promotion? Maybe I picked a peak time,
but at 7PM yesterday there was at least a half-hour wait to get a
machine. Then how many sessions would I have had to play once I did
get a seat? I gave up after a couple of minutes in line. Anyone have
a more positive experience? Tips on how to maximize the time value of
this promotion?
