Well, on the drawing date (sat 4/10 at 7pm), the room where they
were holding the event (Key West) was OVER capcity to the point
where it should have been a fire hazard. It was packed, and there
were scores of people waiting outside trying to get in.
you had 1min 30 sec to claim your prize after it was announced, else
they pick someone else. And here's the kicker-> you had to claim in
in the Key West room. Well, if you werent already in there, there
was NO WAY you were going to get thru that sea of people in 1min
30sec in time for an Palm's official to hear you.
Also, if you were standing outside, they posted the #'s on a Tv
screen, but that screen was having problems and it was HARD to read
the numbers on there.
So they tried to announce it over the loud speaker. i was one of the
people standing way outside of the room and i couldnt hear the
loudspeaker clearly cause of all the people complaining/venting
around me.
Palm's sorely underestimated the response to this promotion and
wasted my time.
