Palms "Swipe and Win" Experiences?

Simply swiping your card for any type of promo (swipe and win,
getting/checking drawing entries, activating same) does NOT trigger a "trip" at the Palms.

I've gotten a mouse pad and a calendar. Was hoping, of course, for 4X
points.

Wow BJay thanks for that tip - I truly do learn something new every
day. Incidentally, does swiping for giveaways like the basketball last
week trigger a "trip"?
