When the Palms switched over to stations I, like a lot of other players, were told that I would get Chairman status until June as is on my card, and would get a cruise. Since then I've been trying to find out about the cruise and getting mixed information (and Princess did not show my Chairman status). I was at Red Rock last week and discovered that my status is only listed as Platinum for Stations, and I did not get the 50% off the price of buffet.
On checking at Boarding Pass desk at Red Rock Stations, I was told that my CHairman status had only been good until December (one month because I didn't pick up my card from Palms until November) despite the fact that the chairman card I had been given by the Palms states June 2017 and I had been explicitly told at Palms my membership went for 6 months and I would get a cruise.
They filled out a form asking about my status and today someone from red rock casino called back and said I would not get a cruise because my status and was only platinum and that all Palms updated status benefits only lasted until Dec.
I called my former host at the Palms who has been promoted and she said she will check because, according to her, The people at red rock are wrong, and that all the chairman people who got that upgrade will get a cruise still in April (when new Princess program starts, it is in abeyance right now) and that Stations promised everyone would get a six-month upgrade, just like they had told Palms customers.
If the people at red rock are correct, I feel the whole thing has been almost a scam, because it was widely advertised that everyone would get upgraded status to Stations based on their previous Palms status, and people were explicitly told by Palms we would be getting 6 months Stations benefits, such as food discounts, cruises, etc.
At any rate if you are in the same boat that I am I would strongly suggest you complain to host and higher ups at the Palms.
I will let you know if there is any further information.
