Palms rewards system

IMHO, there is no definitive way to judge the reward level(s) from the Palms:
It is a combination of many things. Paddlejunkie's comment does have merit
from the scuttlebutt heard over the past few months. As I see it and others
have eluded to:

1. Actual play is always the most important and Jean was right that its
better to have good play on fewer visits than "grind" smaller handles on
numerous visits. For the same handle, I believe you're rated higher is
playing 50c, $1, $2 and up machines than great volume at the 25c level.

2. The big rumor borne out by known players that no longer receive coupons
is that playing only positive machines does catch the "eye" of their system.
This may extend to those who ONLY play on 2x, 3x and extra promo days and
never can be seen on the single point days.

3. The last factor (the hardest to predict) is akin to "curving the grades"
in school.
You have decent play one month when their players were so-so across the
board. The next month, you put in approximately the same handle but that
month some players come in and really "fire up". Your play then will be
curved for rewards less than you received the month before.

To counteract the above, there are players who run in just to get their
bounce back. After the pin # download, they remove their cards and play off
their money hoping that their "appearance" with literally no play does not
water down their average.

Again, this is just the summary of info heard from many sources....it may
ring true enough or not. Quien sabe? Ante Roz
