Palms Questions

OK... being that I am 14 days away from my next trip to Las Vegas and
the Palms... can you fine folks give me a little steer as to the
latest rumors/activity. (I did check the database but it gives
conflicting information as compared to some recent member comments.)

Is there any full pay Pick-Em going on. Last I heard it came back in
quarters but then disappeared again??? (Having heard Pick-Em had
returned... I had been studying up.... maybe for no reason now?)

It is my understanding that there is still $1.00 9/6 JOB and $1.00
NSUD available in single line games and that most of the carnage took
place in the multi-line formats... do I have this correct???

Is there still $1.00 NSUD in the high roller area???

and finally... do I understand that Double Points days for August
have changed to Thursdays and Saturdays.... if so... that would
figure as we will be there from Sunday to Thursday morning! <grin>

PS Any Celebrity Poker Get Togethers planned again from the Scott
residence??? We had a wonderful visit the last time we were out! : )

In addition to what the database shows, there is still the four slant
top Game Kings that have quarter 9/6 JoB with the big payoff for the
Sequential Royal. There are two other games on these machines; one of
which must be full-pay, as the machines still have the 100% signs in
the candles on top of the machines.

Those sequential royal machines are in the Palms database:

The other two games on those machines are 9/6 Bonus Poker
Deluxe and 9/7 Triple Double Bonus.

Maybe you were looking at the Las Vegas Index + Summary:

DataBase page.

Yes, that was exactly what I was looking at.

Sidenote: As I was walking into the Suncoast a few hours ago, I heard
over the speakers "The slot department would like to congratulate a
lucky winner for winning $20,000 on one of our $10 video poker
machines".

Sounds like 4 ACES with the kicker on DDB. I hope it was a vpFree
member.

I was recently in Vegas at the Palms and looked for Pick'em, but didn't find it. I think they'd just taken them out.

However, there is a bank of Pick'ems at Slots-a-Fun near the door going out to Circus Circus. I had lots of fun on those. Also played Pick'em at Fiesta Henderson.
