Did anyone get anything really good in last month's scratch contest at
the Palms? I got $25 free play the first day, which of course I
didn't go to. The rest of the month, just some point multipliers and
one $10 food credit.
Palms question...
I got $25 at 24-Seven and $25 at Garduno's, but only $5 in free play the
whole month.
I'm wondering if they counted the scratch-off days as trips against my daily
average, because I didn't even get a calendar of rewards from them this
month, in spite of giving them more coin-in than I have in any month to
date.
Spreading $15 in weekly free play across three days is pretty crappy for a
place that rates you on your daily average.

Most likely. I had no problem taking the entire month off, and have no
problem, especially with that stupid 350 ticket cap on the drawings,
or their more inane marketing personnel, taking this month off as well.
Frankly, daily average for a locals casino is plain wrong. If MGM
Mirage and HET can figure that one out, why not the Maloofs?

The food offers would not trigger activity in their player tracking
system; however, utilizing the Free Play would initiate gaming
activity and therefore count as a 'play day'.
One reason that you might not have received an offer is because the
Palms is looking at daily average theoretical win not daily average
coin-in. If you are playing games like FPDW, then you are not
generating theoretical win for the casino as the games are probably
set to $0. You could handle $5.00 or $5,000; both amounts x $0 = $0.
That's how they look at it. While I understand that coin-in and
theoretical win are related, there is a big difference from the
casino standpoint of a player that handles $20,000 on a Dueces Wild
VP game vs. a player that handles $20,000 on a Double/Triple Red,
White and Blue reel game.
