The point of most promotions, including this one, is to get you to play
more. Therefore, only single points earned from November 1 through December 23
can be used to buy gift cards/certificates. If you could use old points, it
would be almost like converting existing comp points to cash, minus 10%. Not
likely to happen. My understanding is that the Palms pays full price for the
gift cards/certificates, or only receives a tiny discount on them.
