No biggie, I was just making a suggestion which might save you time. No
apology necessary!
FWIW, I used a kiosk today at the Palms to get a $100 gift card at the
gift shop. It was very easy and intuitive, and I didn't have any problems. If
you find a long line at a kiosk, look for another one, as there are seven
total. The ones at the "back" of the Palms (east side) seem to have
shorter/no lines.
Apparently, the only way to view or use your old points is at a kiosk.
Neither the hosts nor the slot club can view or access your old points. This is
very inconvenient for both hosts and out-of-towners, as many people like
to use their old points to pay for rooms and room charges. You can no longer
go home (for nonlocals) and call your host to have him/her hit your old
points to pay for your room after the fact. You MUST go to a kiosk before you
leave, print out a hotel voucher, and take it to VIP or the front desk so
they can use it to clear off your room/room charges.

You are right, Brian. I apologize for wasting everyone's time on this when
you had already covered it.

On the rules mailed out, Rule 4. states: "Designated machines are

Word has come down from on high, and this rule has been eliminated. ALL
machines will earn points, but the "better" machines will not be
eligible for
any point multipliers.
It's a really good idea to read previous posts on a subject before you

Hello all,
I got my mailer from The Palms for June. Enclosed was a card stating
the
rules for the new "Free Slot Play For Your Points".
There are 28 rules. Number Four states, "Designated machines are
excluded
from earning ANY points" (the capital letters in ANY are mine).
Am I Chicken Little? Is the sky really falling?
