I got an offer from the Palms for a free movie for 2 with popcorn and soda
and also free play, good til end of May. Just wondered if this was a general
offer, or because I had a heavy play day at start of month after several
months of basically zero play. Anyone know?

Well, I played heavily the first three months this year ($20K every week) and only once in
April, and I received the same offer. I mentioned it to a guy I know who's a player and he
received a mailer with a 3X points coupon and $50 at Garduno's instead of the one I got. He
puts in less regular play there than I do, but at a higher denom. I wish I'd received the 3X
points, to tell you the truth, since I rarely go to the movies.
