Palms makes a good decision regarding old points...

Confusing how? They are the easiest and most intuitive kiosks I've ever
used, I haven't made a wrong keystroke yet, from the very first time I used
one! The only negative I can think of is that once a voucher is issued, you
can't void it. So check first with the outlet, to make sure they have what
you want to buy.

The investment is already made. Why wouldn't the kiosks remain on the
floor for as long as necessary? There are seven on the floor right now, if the
demand decreases they can reduce the number.

On the other hand, a little caution is always prudent. No harm there. And
I agree that Stations/Fiestas did it better.

I'd be a little cautious. Unlike Stations and Fiestas, they have removed
the old points to a seperate system. I can't see them keeping those
confusing special kiosks forever.

I was not clear. I meant confusing to new customers who don't know what the kiosks are for. Other than a poor management decision, there was no reason to seperate the points as we saw at Station properties. They were saying at the gift shop that some customers have tens of thousands of dollars in comps. Anyone that frugal with their points could take decades to spend them. I doubt they will keep those kiosks on the floor for over ten years waiting for a very few customers to use up their old points. Why don't they just admit they made a mistake (like recently when they had $10 NSUD Five Play with 0.25% Free Play and 6X multipliers) and merge the points back into one user friendly system?
