PALMS: I have been slashed in half for this month. $20 cashback
coupons instead of $40. $20 meal credits instead of $40. My coin-in
is NOT down for May; however, my "visit average" may have been
affected as I played after breakfast for just an hour or so on
several occasions. This alone may have been the killer, or it could
be the result of an overall tightening of Palms policy.
I would hasten to add that even at the reduced level, this amounts
to over $200 in real, useable cash and other goodies.
Also: Tuscany's mailer (the first one I've ever gotten) has 4 x $40
cash offers. The dates are broader than most: Jun 1-7, then 8-14,
etc. This is in return for a few days of $1 and .50 play in April-
May, during which I estimate 10-15K daily. They mention a new
steakhouse, with 15% off for club card holders (I PRESUME you can
use points to pay for the meal). Comp rate is crappy at a base of
0.1 but there are multiplier days and coupons easily available.
