You may remember my husband and I didn't get any mailer this month, the
first time ever I believe! But what should arrive? A letter from a host,
thanking us for being valuable players, and offering to book rooms or
whatever (presumably meals). Weird!
The most annoying thing about the Palms is that some (but not all) VP
machines are marked as "not available for promotions" - if I play DDB - a bad
game, on the wrong machine - no multiple points (and now apparently no credit
for mailers). But if I play 9/6JB on another machine that is an "okay"
machine, I get points and mailers! They really hate NSU, but it is no
better (actually slightly worse, isn't it), than 9/6JB - so penalize those
machines.
I like multiplay 3/5 NSU and DDB - but if there are no mailers (they were
meager, but at least they were something), why play there when I can play
3/5 DDB at the GC across the street, and NSU there too (though not
multi-play)?
And I can fly to New Orleans for 3/5 NSU where I am really treated well.
I just don't get it, Palms!!!
