Palms...How stupid can you get?

When I booked an offer for 3 nights comp. plus $100FP in Feb. at the Palms
I told them I only needed two nights. They refused to book it for the two
nights saying I HAD to stay three. I said "OK, make it the three then."
I checked in, put out the "Do not disturb" sign, left the room empty, drove
to Laughlin and spent the night there which I had planned to do. Came
back the next evening and stayed two nights. They also charged a $1.00 resort
fee per night. Kind of petty if you ask me. I was able to book less
nights than the offer at every other place I tried on the Feb. trip. No one
else told me I HAD to stay the maximum time of the offer.

I've had casinos say this often (about 1/2 the time I try to book a partial stay, but more often when FP is part of the offer).

Just leave early (if possible), so you don't pay the extra day's resort fee.
Don't say anything nasty to the casino phone operators, so that they don't put any "notations" in your account.

"Plausible deniability" - If you leave 1 day early, and a casino host asks about it later, you can always mention "family emergency - car accident, work - negotiation on big $100 million deal, etc..."
