and what's convenient is you can download the earned free play right at your machine with your PIN#. Seemed to work similar to what MGM casinos use ----- but better since you can just play the "free money" without having to prime the pump like MGM/Mirage requires.
A message is on the machines saying something about redeeming points for free play in the high limit slots room, but you don't need to go there. Just do it at any machine you want once you have the credits built up.
I stayed at Palms 4 nights last week and really enjoyed everything about it. Took advantage of their point multiplier days on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday also plus some free swipe promo in the food court that gave me a "car wash" no use to me, but then also one swipe was for an extra 1,000 points and the other swipe was for an extra 800 points. (I forgot to swipe the last day.......)
The redemption of "old" pre-June 1 points was also very easy. Just don't self write a comp for more than you need, there is no way to put the unused money back on your account. So underestimate slightly what you think you will need or wait until you get the bill and then step out and swipe kiosk for exact amount.

Yes. 400 points ($400 coin-in on single points) gets you $1 in free play,
which is .25%.
