Palms FP DDB

As I was leaving the Palms today I noticed the 4 FP
DDB machines near the FPDW Progressive had been
replaced by "Beverly Hillbillys" slots. A slot person
had the hood up on one of them and I asked if the DDB
had been moved. She said they were taken off the
floor.

Ya'll come back now, heah!

Sounds good to me! (that they are gone)
Those .25c 10/6 DDB near the FPDW, which were shown in the Frugal
Video Poker video by Jean, were not very good anyway. 10/6 alright
but the 9/6 DDB on the other side gives you a lot more hits. Never
saw too many people playing those machines (at least about 2 years
ago) and the ones I saw play there ended up losing. The sign 100+
was always showing above the machines though...

So, you are saying that the machines with an inferior paytable were actually "paying more". Any evidence to support this observation? In spite of the paytable, it could always have something to do with the moon cycle, or not?

How about the 10/6 DDB bank at Palms near the door that gave to the
parking lot and the stop of the shuttle from Caesars? You know, near
that horrid food court area? They were straight up machines, not
slant top, and there were ten or fourteen of them, on both sides of
the bank. Those were really goody goody two shoes. They delivered
those Quads, and I loved those 50 coin Full Houses. I got lots of
both on many sessions. I hope they are still there, otherwise, the
only reason I will have to go back to Palms is, perhaps, Britney.
