The booth personnel last night remarked that I have about 36K
points
accumulated toward my Christmas gifts or certificates. It looks
like they counted all
points (2x, 3x) and NOT just my base points which I had around 18K.
Dilliards is one of the properties for which you may "purchase"
certificates.
Sorry, was in a bit of a hurry so didn't find out the particulars
of how
many points equals a $$$, what increments are the certificates
($25, $100, etc)
or the length of time before expiration.
Did want to let the list know that all points during this time
frame are
"good to go".
This is the exact opposite of what a boothling told ME, that only
the base points earned would be eligible. It's obviously much better
if the multiplied points are good, too.
I saw the brochure with all the various goodies you can get under
this promo; it looks very much like the formula used is 400
points=$1 of retail value (just like the comp base formula). I
wasn't aware that gift certs were an option; Dillard's would suit
all the girl persons in my family just FINE, so it's nice to know if
that's an option.
BTW, what are the double point days of the week there? I've lost my
flyer. Apropos of that, I told the boothling that I had lost the
flyer, and she went to the considerable trouble of writing down all
my free play days (significant at %50 a shot!), AS WELL AS writing
down my $50 food coupon days, and informing me that I could visit
the slot club booth on those days and get a comp voucher to replace
the lost coupons. Similarly, I could recover my spa credit as well
(I use it to let the girls get foo-foo bath products). This was
above and beyond the call of duty, and I was stunned to get this
extra service from a boothling, although I'd have to say that the
Palms has been the best slot club to deal with to which I've ever
belonged. Kudos to the person at the slot club (no, I didn't stop to
note her name, dang it).
