Palms cashback?

I seem to remember something about Palms giving cashback for play in
the high limit area. Are they still doing this and how do you go
about it? Any particular advantages for a visitor with a MVP card?
Thanks, RW.

It's a lousy deal; it takes 800 points to get a dollar cash (and ONLY
the high-limit room play counts); this is .125, or half the comp rate
of 400 points= $1 comps, or .25. What it is, is an attempt to let the
high-rollers/frequent players get something for their points when they
have all the comp points they can possibly use.
I had 1/2 million points a month ago, and the five of us went out to
Little Buddha twice, the Nine steakhouse once, saw a few movies, the
girls each got a spiffy haircut at the Palms spa/salon, etc. etc....it
wasn't hard using those points at all!!!!
